Metropolis Resort FAQ's

 
Check-In Time
Check-in time begins at 4pm or as rooms become available. However, you are welcome to play in the waterpark as soon as it opens. In the event that your room is not ready, we recommend that you pack a smaller bag with bathing suits and swim gear and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car. Stop by the hotel front desk to let us know you’re here and pick up your waterpark wrist bands. There are lockers, showers, and changing areas available for your use in the waterpark. We will be getting room(s) ready while you enjoy our amenities!

Check-Out Time
Check-out time is prior to 11am. As our guest, please feel free to enjoy the waterpark until closing of the day you check-out. We recommend packing a smaller bag with bathing suits and a change of clothes and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car.

OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Due to Wisconsin State Law (SS196.07 and 125.36), The Metropolis Resort is legally liable for any items consumed within the resort in public areas. We cannot permit guests to bring any food or beverages (not purchased within the resort) into any public areas. You are more than welcome to bring food and beverages into your hotel room.

PET POLICY 
The Metropolis Resort does NOT allow pets in any guest room to ensure cleanliness and safety for all guests. 
 
SMOKING POLICY
Metropolis Resort is a completely smoke-free facility.  There are designated smoking areas outside of the Resort. 
 
EARLY CHECK-IN
We will do our best to accommodate an early check-in request but we will NOT guarantee it. Standard check-in time is 4pm. 
 
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
Credit cards are required to check-in.  Your card will be authorized for you total stay plus an extra $50 for incidentals.  

DEBIT CARD USERS
When using a debit or check card, the card will be authorized for the entire amount of your stay plus $50 for incidentals upon check-in.  Metropolis Resort is not liable for any overdraft fees that may be incurred because of an authorization of funds.

REMITTING PAYMENT
Credit cards are the preferred methods of payment.  Metropolis Resort accepts: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Direct billing must be set up a minimum of 2 weeks prior to arrival.  We do NOT accept checks.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Notification of cancellation must be received 24 hours before check- in for a Sunday – Thursday reservation.  Reservations for Fridays, Saturdays, holidays or special event dates must be cancelled 72 hours before check-in. Any reservations not cancelled within the 72 & 24-hour time frames will be charged for the first night’s stay. 

RATE REVISIONS
Room rates are locked in upon booking and may not be varied upon check-in or check out. Rates quoted do not include the 13.5% occupancy tax.

POOL RULES
Children under 3 are admitted into Chaos for $1.95 which includes a mandatory swim diaper.  Towels and life jackets are included at no additional charge for all guests. 
Note: Wisconsin state code 8.21 does NOT allow food or beverage from your room or any outside business to be carried into any of the pool areas.

The Metropolis Resort is at exit 68 off Interstate 94 at WI 93. After exiting I-94, head South on WI-93 to the first traffic light. Turn right onto Lorch Avenue. The Metropolis Resort will be on your right 1/2 mile down Lorch Ave (which becomes Fairview Dr).

RESORT INFORMATION:
*Check-in is anytime after 4pm. Check-out is prior to 11:00am
*Must be at least 21 years of age to check-in
*Settlements of accounts are due upon check-out. Settlement of accounts for incidental charges incurred throughout your stay is due upon check-out
*Credit card will be required at check-in
