Chippewa Valley Air Show
Spectators will show up each year to enjoy an especially exciting brand of family entertainment. The Metropolis Resort is the perfect place to stay while taking in the show. You can enjoy a long action packed weekend of family fun at the airshow this year!
Country FestCountry Fest is one of the premier festivals around! Celebrating the best of all things Country, Country Festers enjoy three days of music and entertainment, RFID wristbands, cashless option in the concert grounds, delicious food, interactive exhibits, exciting activations, and the largest campground in WI.
For non-campers, Country Fest offers the option of convenient daily shuttle service to the Metropolis Resort. The natural Amphitheater Concert Grounds feature: 50+ Bands, 1 Massive Permanent Main Stage and 4 Permanent Side Stages, and more than 23 miles of permanent roads. VIP, Reserved, or General Admission ticket packages are available at this Venue along with Camping & Pit Passes for all three days, or for each show at a reasonable cost to get you close to your favorite Artists! Eau Claire MarathonThe Eau Claire Marathon is a very special event that attracts runners from all over the country. You will find the course to be a challenging, yet beautiful. The runners will go across 11 of the cities scenic bridges spanning back and forth over Half Moon Lake, the Chippewa River, and the Eau Claire River. Along the route you will find the Blugold Mile, Water Street Mile & Musical Mile...all an amazing experience at the right time during your route to get you jazzed for the finish line.
The Eau Claire Marathon offers the following races: Full Marathon, Full Relay Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, Fantastically Fun Kid's Run.
Irvine Park Christmas Village
Lowes Creek County Park & Trails
5238 S. Lowes Creek Rd (Trail access located across the street from Action City)
At Lowes Creek you will find a variety of trails for every level of rider, from beginner to advanced. The trails include approximately 5 miles of the double-track cross country ski system and 8 miles of technical single track. The newly developed single track trails take the rider to all four corners of the park by winding through pine tree forests, crossing creek beds, and cruising along ridge lines.
All of the trails at Lowes Creek are multi-use so they appeal to trail runners, walkers, and mountain bikers. Helmets are recommended and a parking pass is required. For more information, visit the Eau Claire County Parks website or the Chippewa Off Road Bike Association website.
Leinenkugel's Brewery Tour

Take a tour of the historic Leinenkugel Brewery in Chippewa Falls and let one of their guides introduce you to nearly 150 years of beer brewing and six generations of Leinenkugel family history. All tours start at the Leinie Lodge, which is filled with historical photos, vintage brewing equipment and plenty of Leinie’s wearables and collectibles to take home. Relax with friends and family as you sample their award-winning beers and get the full flavor of all things Leinenkugel’s.
