Per Emergency Order #1 released by the Office of Governor Evers, face masks are required to be worn by all individuals at Metropolis Resort, Action City, and Chaos Water Park.
No Masks, No Service
- Children ages 5 and under.
- While eating or drinking.
- While swimming or on duty as a lifeguard.
To Our Guests,
Metropolis Resort was founded in 2005 to give families a safe place to have fun. That continued commitment is stronger than ever as we near closer to our re-opening. Over the last fifteen years of operation, we have built a strong foundation on three basic principles safety, cleanliness, and fun. As we begin to re-open our doors and welcome you back, we want to inform you of the safety measures we have put in place. During our 66 days of closure, we went back to the drawing board to ensure our operation was as safe, clean, and fun as possible. Below are some of the changes that we have put in place.
Food Service:
- Increased our bottle soda offerings and discontinued self-service fountain soda
- Added menu boards where available to eliminate paper menus
- Single-use utensils and plates have been added to all service options
- Restaurant seating and occupancy have been reduced to regulation standards
- Increased sanitization of high-contact areas within foodservice operation
- Encouraged use of cash-less payment options to reduce unnecessary physical contact
Action City
- Sanitation stations will be located through Action City to ensure safe game/ride operation
- Increased staffing for cleaning procedures
- Created new staff role for high-contact cleaning duties
- Increased distance between arcade games for social distancing
- Occupancy requirements have been updated to regulation standards
- Encouraged use of cash-less payment options to reduce unnecessary physical contact
Hotel
- Renovated Hotel Front Desk for social distancing
- Enabled electronic check-in to reduce unnecessary physical contact
- Provide stay-over bags instead of traditional stay over service
- Added service of bagged ice and removed self-service ice options for regulation standards
- Increased guest safety measures in the room by removing items that are difficult to sanitize
- Encouraged use of cash-less payment options to reduce unnecessary physical contact
Water Park
- Occupancy requirements have been updated to regulation standards
- Continuous digital monitoring of pool chemical levels to ensure safe pool operation
- Increased pool attendants focused on the sanitization of high-contact areas
- Encouraged use of cash-less payment options to reduce unnecessary physical contact
- Water Park towels laundered according to safety regulations
Staff
- Employees who have symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to work
- Employees must wash hands or sanitize between guest transactions
- Continued sanitization training for all staff members
- Where feasible staff members must wear face coverings while assisting guests
